The Business Development Coordinator plays a key support role in both sales and operations, assisting the lead salesperson and the wider team by addressing customer issues, coordinating installations, managing product inquiries, and ensuring efficient communication across departments. This position serves as a liaison between customers, sales personnel, and internal teams to support ongoing customer satisfaction and operational success.

•Respond to and resolve various issues and concerns from existing customers in a timely and professional manner.
•Conduct site visits and sales calls alongside sales staff to evaluate customer needs and offer solutions.
•Perform field sampling of potentially problematic fuel tanks and provide initial assessments.
•Install and support fuel and lube tank equipment including Petrovend systems, clock gauges, monitors, pumps, and Fluid Secure components.
•Provide accurate product pricing and availability information to customers and sales staff.
•Submit Equipment Request Forms (ERFs) and manage account setups through internal departments.
•Maintain regular interaction with customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
•Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
•Work closely with various sales team members to assist and support account management and customer service tasks.
•Log all tasks, communications, and customer interactions in CRM software.
•Act as a liaison between customers and operations to ensure clarity and resolution of issues.
•Assess and troubleshoot driver-reported concerns related to customer sites.
•Understand key sales and operations functions to provide comprehensive support.
Requirements
The best candidate will have the following qualifications:
•High school diploma/GED or equivalent required
•Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or operations preferred
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn internal CRM and reporting software.
•Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and meet deadlines
•Must be highly organized, proactive, and capable of working both individually and within a team
•Ability to use tools and basic installation equipment
Additionally, while performing duties, the employee may be required to sit, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, type, communicate effectively, manage conflict, work evenings and/or weekends, attend remote meetings, and travel.

•Limited travel required for customer visits and remote meetings.
•Must be able to attend sales calls and participate in remote or onsite meetings as needed.
