THIS POSITION IS FOR TEMPORARY WORK AND OUTAGE WORK. Responsibilities
- Under supervision, perform duties in operating warehouses including, but not limited to, shipping, receiving, storing, issuing and inventory of parts, materials and equipment.
- Record all transactions
- Load, unload and transport parts, material and equipment and perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform duties involved in the shipping and receiving of parts, materials and equipment.
- Insure that the count is accurate and that the goods are in serviceable condition.
- Process returned parts, materials and equipment. Record all transactions.
- Onsite Mobility Classification - Work will be performed at a company facility
- Issue parts, materials and equipment upon request. Record all transactions.
- Perform inventory of parts, materials and equipment. Record the results of such inventory.
- Operate assigned motor vehicles and mechanical equipment. Load, unload and transport materials and equipment as assigned.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly condition.
- Setup/reassign bin locations for new or existing inventory to maximize warehouse efficiency.
- Must have two (2) years experience as Materials Trainee.
- Must possess appropriate motor vehicle operator's license.
- Minimum of one year experience operating a lift truck.
- Experience with Supply Chain
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
- Must be able to comprehend, retain and follow oral and written instructions, including following safety signs and awareness of safety hazard signs.
- Must be able to exercise good judgment, set priorities, and make decisions.
- Must be able to communicate well with supply chain coworkers and site personnel others in a team atmosphere.
- Must be willing to travel to multiple sites to support emerging warehousing needs.
- Possess a continuous improvement mindset to optimize warehouse processes.
